150th Anniversary Service
Scout Centenary
Our second parish church is St.Mary's Branksea
It was built in the 1850s to serve an island population of over 200 people
To mark the Scout Centenary year a project was launched to provide kneelers for St.Mary's Church with all the World Jamboree Badges since the beginnings of the movement.
This was a gift from the Brownsea Island Scout Fellowship to our church
The kneelers were either sponsored or made from different groups around the world

2009-2010
a further set of kneelers has been promised
